NEW!! Tagaytay Ridge and Pagsanjan Falls Combo Tour

This 11 hours tour, combines Tagaytay’s panoramic views (weather permitting) over lake Taal, with the action of canoeing one of the most famous waterfalls in the Philippines, Pagsanjan Gorge & Falls.

Duration: 11 hours.

Tagaytay, located on a ridge 2250 feet above sea level with panoramic views over Lake Taal.

Drive to “The Palace In The Sky”, the vacation home of the late President Marcos, before lunch in a local restaurant set high on the ridge with panoramic views of the lake.

Should you wish to actually trek the Taal volcano up to its crater, we recommend our Taal Volcano Trek.

At the (optional) pulling of the bamboo raft under the waterfall stream, the sound of the water, on the bamboo raft can be frightening and therefore is NOT ADVISABLE FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN.

Overnight stay with breakfast in Tagaytay Ridge can also be arranged by us upon request.

Itinerary

At 07:00 you will be picked up by a chauffeur driven air-con car for your 2 to 2.5 hours drive south of Manila via Santa Rosa to Tagaytay. On the way to Taal Lake and Taal volcano’s viewpoint we drive by stalls offering fresh fruit, feel free to ask the driver to shortly stop should you wish to buy something.

At 2,250 feet above sea level, this tour offers a panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano Island, weather permitting. Taal volcano, the smallest and lowest volcano in the world, at 311 meters, cannot be seen from the ridge.

(To trek to the Taal Volcano crater, we recommend our Taal Volcano Trek to the Taal Volcano crater)

We also visit a jeepney factory and the Bamboo Organ of the Las Pinas Church (the only one of its kind in the world, dating from 1824). Exploration continues as you head from Tagaytay to Pagsanjan.

We top en-route during the 2.5 hours drive. for a local cup of coffee and pie. Upon arrival, lunch is provided in a simple lodge above the water’s edge.

The Pagasanjan Falls is one of the most famous waterfalls in the Philippines and is only accessible by canoe.

The boatman takes you upstream through lush greenery and cliffs for20 minutes to the first fall, then at the second, main fall, the water drops from 70 feet.

An exciting bamboo raft will take you under this waterfall, then your return trip downstream allows you to “shoot the rapids”
